Maddy and Jesse first met at their Gartner internship in Fort Myers, FL where they spent 8 weeks getting to know each other.

After Jesse returned to Ohio and Maddy stayed in Florida, they kept in touch via FaceTime for 5 months while she wrapped up her senior year and he finished his MBA.

After 5 months apart they reconnected in Epcot for New Years Eve and Jesse extended his stay to visit the greatest place in the world, Gainesville! On January 6th, Jesse officially asked Maddy to be his girlfriend.

With the help of Jodi and Hector Marinaro, Maddy visited Ohio for the first time to surprise Jesse for his birthday. This also marks the first time Maddy had to buy a winter coat.

While they were only supposed to do a few months of long distance, COVID had other plans! Maddy and Jesse did 14 months of long distance, but had many visits between Florida and Ohio.

Long distance ends!!! Jesse moved to the Sunshine State.

In 2021, Maddy and Jesse got to visit their new favorite place after Marta and Mike Tighe move to Hilton Head Island, SC. This marks the first trip to a place that will hold special memories in the future!

And then they were roommates!

The moment we've all been waiting for! Jesse proposed to Maddy on the beach in Hilton Head surrounded by both of their immediate families. We are so excited to continue our story with you all back in our favorite place!
